In March of 2026, I booked DETOUR, a short animated film created, directed, and produced by CSULB student Michael Kin. The film follows my character Chiko and her robot best friend, V, as they fight crime to make their neighborhood a safer and better place. The film is a beautifully heartwarming tale of friendship and community.
The first voiceover project out of my new home studio setup, DETOUR is a film I am incredibly proud of being a part of. Utilizing my naturally high-pitched vocals, I was able to modulate my voice to create a small, young voice within which I could convey emotion and personality.
Thank you to Michael for the opportunity, all of the animators, sound editors, my fellow castmates, and everyone else who worked on the film. It was an honor to be a part of your project.
