“Cry Havoc” by Allan Kenward was the first mainstage production of my third BFA year at The Theatre School. Looking at the stories of women in WWII, specifically the Nurses of Bantaan, we created a female-centric story, focusing on the misogyny of the time and how that relates to today’s forms of misogyny.

I chose to focus on voice work for this show, learning three new dialects, Transatlantic, German, and Philidelphian, to add to my toolbox, as my character, Connie, was a spy and switched from one to another.

A big thank you to our director, Chris Anthony, our dialect coach, Sammi Grant, and the crew for all of their support.
