Taking on classical text at the same time as comedy was a challenge, I’ll tell you that, but one I was looking forward to diving into headlong. Following in the well-trodden and famous footsteps of all of the wonder Lady Bracknells was terrifying. Yet, as The Importance of Being Earnest was my last Introduction to Performance at The Theatre School and the last show of my sophomore year, I dove headfirst into some of my favorite theater to date. It was so gratifying to get back to my roots in comedy and satire, and boy, did I milk all of the stupid and silly faces and reactions for all they were worth. Many, many thanks to our director, Jessica Turner, and the crew behind this wonderful performance.
